Christ Church is a Safe Place for children, youth and adults to gather for life enrichment activities and to grow in their understanding of the love of Jesus for them.

Our outreach and support of children and youth includes:

• We offer affordable and quality child care by serving as the host site for Kid's Academy Plus: Pre-School and Before & After School care.
• We are the headquarters for Providence Community School a K-12 Home School program offering classroom experience 2 ½ days per week. Current enrollment is 150.
• We sponsor Boy Scout Troop 76 and Cub Scout Pack 76. We are also the meeting site for Girl Scouts and Brownies.
• We are the Host site for Young Life at Bayshore High School and Wyldlife at Lee Middle School.

We support persons and families dealing with alcohol and drug abuse issues by serving as a host site for a Women's AA Group and two Al Anon groups.

Our Community support includes active participation in Challenge Day in local High Schools. Challenge Day's vision is to create a world where every child feels safe, loved, and celebrated.

We also are active supporters of the Manasota Care Net crisis pregnancy center.

Our outreach to the world includes:

• Our support of the United Methodist Committee on Relief through our active participation in hurricane and other disaster relief efforts;
• Our support of our sister church in Ciego de Avila, Cuba;
• Our participation in the Global Day of Prayer.
